Preparing ambulatory transportation in Los Angeles.
Velora is prelaunch and preparing non-emergency transportation for passengers who can walk independently or with light assistance. Share future needs for medical appointments, follow-up visits and community transportation, with initial pickups planned in the City of Los Angeles.
Initial pickups are planned in the City of Los Angeles after permits, insurance, vehicle approval and driver clearance are complete. Destinations may extend beyond the City once operational; pickups outside the City are subject to separate approvals.
01
Choose the right type of ride
Ambulatory transportation is for passengers who can enter and exit a vehicle without remaining seated in a wheelchair. Tell our team about any mobility aid or assistance needs so we can discuss whether this service fits your trip.
02
Coordinate with your appointment
Share the appointment time as well as your preferred pickup time when speaking with our team. If you need a return ride, tell us whether the appointment has a known finish time. This information supports prelaunch planning and does not confirm transportation.
03
Share future needs for someone you support
Family members, caregivers and facility coordinators are welcome to contact Velora. For a discharge or other coordinated pickup, share anticipated timing and assistance needs for future service. Emergency and stretcher/gurney transport are outside our service scope.
Before launch
Questions, answered.
What if I use a walker or cane?
Let Velora know in your prelaunch interest inquiry. Discuss the mobility aid and level of assistance needed so the team can assess the appropriate transportation option.
Can I share future needs for regular appointments?
Yes. Tell us the appointment schedule, pickup and destination cities, and whether you need a return ride. This is an interest inquiry only; Velora is not yet accepting or confirming rides.
What does a ride cost?
Contact Velora about pricing and payment options for future service; rides cannot be booked during prelaunch. The website does not provide an automatic fare or confirm insurance coverage.
Call or email Velora with a prelaunch interest inquiry. Submitting an inquiry does not book or confirm a ride. Velora is prelaunch and is not yet accepting rides.
